Nigel Power is a British-born and Bangkok-based artist, designer and professor. Nigel’s current creative practice explores the aesthetic and political potential of found and détourned imagery. Examples of this practice have been exhibited and published internationally. Since 2002 he has researched and published widely on the complex yet largely overlooked interactions between design, modernity and everyday life in Thailand. Since 2002 Nigel has worked as an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. He currently leads the MfA in Visual Communication.
